With an Antigua luxury yacht charter, guests can enjoy the many delights of Antigua and Barbuda. Antigua is known for its 365 beautiful beaches, "one for each day of the year." With stunning coastal scenery, deep bays and perfect sailing conditions, Antigua is a premier yachting center and year-round destination.

In 1784 the legendary Admiral Horatio Nelson established Great Britain's most important Caribbean base, the famous Nelson's Dockyard in English Harbor. The trade winds that once blew British men-of-war now fuel "Antigua Sailing Week" and the "Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta."

Along the expansive, winding coastline, today's crewed yacht charter guests encounter secluded, powdery soft sandy beaches. The coral reefs, once the bane of marauding enemy ships, now attract snorkelers and scuba divers from all over the world.

And the fascinating little island of Barbuda, once a scavenger's paradise because so many ships wrecked on its reefs, is now home to one of the region's most significant bird sanctuaries. Barbuda is a low, flat sister island with miles of nearly deserted sandy beaches.

NE trade winds are nearly constant December through May, but are reduced June through November (hurricane season). Temperatures generally range from the mid-70s in the winter to the mid-80's in the summer. Annual rainfall averages only 45 inches, making it the sunniest of the Eastern Caribbean Islands. Antigua, the largest English-speaking Leeward Island, is about 14 miles long and 11 miles wide, with a 1,319 foot high point.
